Turmeric- A Natural gift

Everything God has created on this earth has its own use. Turmeric is one of the most beneficial herbs. It is known as “haldi” in India which is extracted from the roots of the curcuma longa plant. It has numerous benefits but here we’re going to talk about benefits of Turmeric for skin.

Benefits of Turmeric for Skin:

For centuries Turmeric has been used as a beauty product. It is a great gift of nature for treating several skin problems and not very expensive either. It is used for:

Treatment of Acne:

Possessing marvelous antibacterial and anti-septic qualities that fights pimples which gives a gorgeous young look to your skin, it is very effective in the treatment of Acne.

As a Facial Mask for Oily skin:

It is very beneficial for oily skin since it produces sebum which is an oily substance made by sebaceous glands.

Removes sign of Aging:

It can get rid of sign of aging since it is an excellent exfoliating agent. By mixing gram flour and turmeric with equal percentage of water. Raw milk or yogurt could also be helpful in making this paste. Apply the paste on your body. Rinse off with lukewarm water as soon as it dries and in a circular manner scrub your face gently.

Relief from Burn pain:

Due to its anti-septic properties it soothes burns. Make a mixture of Turmeric and aloe vera gel to quickly heal the burn.

Remedy for Cracked heels:

Make a paste of Turmeric along with few drops of coconut or castor oil and apply it to the cracked heals before taking a bath and on doing this regularly you’ll get results within a few days.
